I found this on Sean Ellery's sight and decided to work on it because of the beautiful line work and dark and lights of the piece. Plus I am a big fan of Wolverine
Thanks for the comment and I have found that each one I do it keeps getting better and better because I am finally getting the right ideas, the ability and know how. Now when I sit down to work on a piece I have to think for a few minutes as which line widths should go for which areas. Also I am starting to come up with a line width guideline for me to follow when I do pieces so that I can ensure that everything turns out right every time.
that's a good way to think it through. From my time in "da biz", I can tell you one thing that aggravated the hell out of me as a penciller was handing my work over to inkers who were inconsistent.
Consistency is one of the things I am striving really hard to get right. This is why I am creating sort of an inker's Bible giving in detail as to which line thickness should go with each object in the picture whether it be people, animals or inanimate objects.
